Sunday, March 30th is the 16th annual Ocean Drive Marathon. Â
The race starts at 9am in Cape May.
26.2 miles…and 8 bridges later, participants cross the finish line in Sea Isle City.

The snow is melting…and local businesses are starting to re-open for the season.
Quiet afternoon in work, so time for quick walk to check out the snow flurries…and the beach.
Summary: windy, cold, and yes, snowy (visible in the lower picture- against the pine trees). Â Nice views, though 😉

A much nicer day than expected. Â Sunny and mild so far.

Facts for Avalon and Stone Harbor:
1) The full season bookings (Memorial Day to Labor Day) are well ahead of recent years.
2) The weekly rentals are strong, yet there are still plenty of great options available.
3) We often add new inventory this time of year- for example: new owners decide to offer their property for rent.

It was a good morning for treasure hunting along the north end beaches in Avalon (see picture of today’s haul of sea glass).
A long beach walk provides the obvious exercise…plus the bonus of graceful squats and bends picking up, and then rinsing off pieces of sea glass.
When I say “ugh”, I really mean “om” 😉
