I get excited when I find a nice piece of sea glass during my daily beach walk. Â So you can imagine how I feel when I encounter a bald eagle, a snowy owl, or a seal! *
It was cold and windy yesterday morning. Â I walked south up against the dune fencing to block the wind. Â On the return, I walked closer to the water (yet still grumbling about the cold!). Â I was thinking about finishing my walk back on the street to warm up…but I’m so glad I stayed on the sand.
As I approached the jetty, I noticed movement. Â A seal!
The rocks camouflaged the little guy, and I probably walked right past him as I started my walk!
A great way to start the weekend  🙂
*No slight intended to the beach walk “regulars”: osprey, oystercatchers, dolphins, and the occasional whale!
