Will you be in the Avalon area on Saturday, December 29th?
If so, burn off a few Christmas cookies by participating in the annual Dashing Thru the Sand 5K race/walk.
Registration opens at 8am inside the Avalon Community Hall; race time 9am. Â $20 registration fee.
Proceeds benefit The Craig Kenneth Lozier Memorial Scholarship fund.

Can I register online?
Registration will only be the morning of the race. Plenty of race shirts and fee is same.
Do you have someone timing this event? If not are you going to have a clock at the finish line for runners. If you need help with this please let me know. Thanks
Yes, they have a volunteer to time the runners. Long sleeve t-shirts for the participants (and volunteers). Very low key event.

Where is the avalon community hall located
30th and the beach. Straight in from Avalon Blvd. Plenty of free parking.
Will the race go on even if snowing tomorrow?
It did 2 years ago during a snow storm, so I’m guessing yes.
