Although I basically walk the same stretch of sand year round (varying it a bit along our 7 mile coast), it’s a different experience every day.
Sometimes my “wow” response as I walk over the beach path is about the cold or wind…but most days it’s about the amazing views.
This morning, there were two distinct “wows”, and one “yikes”.
Wows- 1) watching an osprey successfully dive for breakfast, and then struggling to keep the large fish in its talons as it flew over head; 2) literally hundreds of geese in formation flying north, parallel to the ocean.
Yikes- 1) a mouse scurrying across a beach path and in to the dunes. Â Explains why the Snowy Owl was spotted in this area all winter!
See you on the beach 🙂
