January Will Always Be January
Yes, it’s been mild. Â Yes, I’m happy for the reasonable gas bills. Â Yes, it’s been great to occasionally wear fewer layers when walking along the beach. But, it’s January. Â And cold temperatures are the norm.

Signs of Winter
Defined by the “signs” on businesses.
Just this weekend, “Thanks for a Great Season” and “See you in the Spring” posted on the doors of Pudgie Pelican, the Concord Cafe, and Hoy’s 5 & 10.
After tomorrow, we will see similar signs on a few more retail shops.
Thankful for the hardy business owners who stay open year round! Â We appreciate the challenge and make an effort to show our support.
