Only a “glimpse” of a sunrise this morning. Â Temperatures have improved, but the sea breeze is keeping it chilly on the beach. Â Overall, not a bad day for the (crazy) Polar Bear Plunge participants in Sea Isle City!

Storm Chasing
Left the office for a few minutes to check out the ocean. Â Best spot to see the power of a Nor’easter? Â Front and center on the northeast corner of the island.
I was at a safe distance from the water on Avalon’s 8th Street jetty…but returned to work a bit “salty”!

Weekend Plans
Someone on Twitter asked about pedestrian access over the Townsends Inlet bridge for the annual Sea Isle City Polar Plunge. Â According to a sign posted on the Avalon side of Ocean Drive, pedestrians and bicycles are prohibited.
