Friday Weather

 Past high tide, but it will take some time for the water to recede in the low lying areas of the island.  Borough workers in both towns are busy cleaning up the debris left behind.

 

 

 

 

The Weather Channel was broadcasting from 7th Street and First Avenue in Avalon .  Even at low tide, the ocean spray over the rock wall gave us a direct hit!

 

 

 

 

The walkway to the beach from the 101st Street pavilion was damaged.

 But there is hope…sunny and close to 70 degrees predicted for Sunday  🙂
