 Friday morning: A tug boat brought a platform with a crane very close to shore…

 

 

 

 

 

The tri-pod used by the dredging company during the Stone Harbor beach fill was driven off the beach and into the ocean…

 

 

 

 

 

The man driving the tri-pod attached a hook from the crane, and then climbed down from his post onto the floating platform.  The crane lifted the tri-pod up and over to the center of the platform.  Once the equipment was secured, the tug pulled it all back out to sea!

It was soooooo cold for a beach walk, but I would miss all of this “excitement” on my treadmill  🙂
