Beautiful fall colors and scenery on our trip through upstate New York and Canada.
Our colors may be limited, but can’t beat the water views!

Speaking of shore colors, my daughters & I were at Stone Harbor Point on Friday, and spotted a very odd thing along the tideline. Bright blue and gelatinous, with bluish strings coming off it. We didn’t touch it but scooped it up on a plastic lid discarded on the beach and looked it over, trying to identify it. Finally left it by the jetty because we didn’t want to carry it back up the path. Then on Saturday we saw this:

and those photos are *exactly* what we found. So Seven Mile Islanders may want to keep their eyes open for more of them.
‘Ta!
I found 2 last year as well. At first I thought it was a colorful zip lock sandwich bag! Glad I didn’t touch it. Asked a local fisherman and he said it looked like a man o’war. That was also after a storm- washed on to the beach.
