Kayaked early, and paddled by this “Survivor” home still decorated from the boat parade. Very clever with the notable island storms!
An older (and beautifully restored) home on Shelter Haven Basin, Stone Harbor.
Thanks to kind neighbors, we had a front row view of the boat parade. Â From their dock, we were able to watch a beautiful sunset while the decorated boats passed by. Â Most water front homes were in the spirit with lights and decorations celebrating the Stone Harbor Centennial.
Very clever themes… and big cheers at the end for the Stone Harbor lifeguards in their row boats!  Fun night 🙂
BIG night ahead in Stone Harbor…even the 96th Street bridge into town will be closed (7pm to 10pm).
Bay front property owners are decorating their homes, docks, and boats; as well as hosting friends and neighbors. Â Fun to kayak around this morning to see the preparations!
Will post pictures tonight on Twitter (from a friend’s dock).
