Ideal weather all weekend. Â Clear skies and comfortable beach temperatures during the day.
The perfect way to start the season!
Yesterday, our office was closed, and we were able to enjoy extended time on the beach and lunch at the Windrift 🙂

There is still time to book your summer rental in Avalon or Stone Harbor NJ!
Visit our web site: Â Â Â https://www.timkerrsir.com/rentals/index/?year=2019

I am here to help!
Thank you for your business and referrals.
Reminder to purchase your seasonal beach tags for Avalon and Stone Harbor NJ.
Tags are $23 each and allow you to “cross the border” between the two towns! Â Purchase before the end of May for the pre-season price.
Although most of my beach time is before or after the tag checker hours, I am happy to contribute to the protection and maintenance of our beautiful shore line.
Money well spent!
Presidents’ Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, and Memorial Day- all target weekends for island businesses and restaurants to re-open for the season.
Welcome back 🙂
And Happy Mother’s Day!
I work best with a detailed check list 🙂
Tips to prepare your home for summer:
1) Turn on all outside water (shower, hose connections on decks, etc)
2) Clean the outside shower and toss old soap and shampoo.
3) Wash all mattress pads and bed pillows (replace those with stains).
4) Empty kitchen cabinets and drawers to wash everything and organize. Toss broken/rusted items.
5) Replace area rugs and door mats as needed.
6) Clean grill. Replace grates (or the grill) if rusty.
7) Scrub outdoor furniture and cushions.
Then take a nice long walk on the beach!
Our agency is open 7 days a week, year round.
So I’m always happy  to see “signs of summer” from my office window!
Across the street: Avalon Coffee (weekends), 29th Street Deli, and Hoy’s 5 & 10 are open.
And, as island residents, we are glad to expand our meal options with the recent openings of Mack’s Pizza, The Watering Hull, and Springers 🙂
Welcome back!
I joke that sand dollars “find me”!
So I will share the wealth around Avalon and Stone Harbor for Easter weekend 😎
If you are on the island and find one of the sand dollars, please share a picture on Twitter or post a comment here.
Thanks for joining the scavenger hunt!
Dogs on the Beach
Stone Harbor offers more options- dog walking is permitted on all beaches between 80th and 122nd Street from 7pm to sunset in season. Â Off season (mid-September to mid-May)Â leashed dogs are permitted any time of the day. Â The Stone Harbor Point Conservation area (south of 122nd Street) is off limits to dogs year round.
That said…
I walk on the beach every day year round, and there are often as many dogs as people 🙂
Over Memorial Day weekend, I was jumped on by an overzealous Doodle, and then decided to walk off the beach after spotting an unleashed Doberman!
I am happy to share the sand with your family pet, but PLEASE keep them on a leash.
